Alex Mootafian
Director of Communications

Alex Mootafian joined Senator Moore’s office in April of 2022. Born and raised in Ipswich, Massachusetts, he graduated from Wentworth Institute of Technology in the fall of 2020.

As Director of Communications, Alex works with the press and social media to share the work Senator Moore is doing for the people of the Second Worcester District. This includes drafting and sending out press releases, creating straightforward and engaging social media posts and graphics, and serving as the primary point of contact for state and local journalists.

In his free time, Alex likes to cook, explore new places, and kick butt in Mario Kart.
