BOSTON – Senator Michael O. Moore (D-Millbury) and Representative Paul K. Frost (R-Auburn) recently welcomed dozens of Auburn High School students to the State House. The visit was coordinated in conjunction with the Social Studies Department.
“Now, more than ever, is a critical moment for civic education in our Commonwealth,” said Senator Moore. “I appreciate educators’ continued efforts to equip our next generation with the tools and information needed to be active and engaged citizens. It was great to speak with the students and I’m looking forward to seeing where the future takes them.”
Free tours of the State House are available weekdays from 10:00AM to 3:30PM and last approximately 30-45 minutes. Those who are unable to visit the State House in person may access a virtual tour of the building on the Legislature’s website by clicking below.
