Senator Moore announced that the Massachusetts Senate passed its version of the Fiscal Year 2020 (FY20) state budget. The spending bill provides $42.8B, a 3.2% increase over FY19, to support state programs and to invest in local priorities.

Senate Passes Local Infrastructure Funding Bill

Senator Moore announced that the Senate passed the so-called “Chapter 90” bond bill to fund local road and bridge repairs, and to continue the legislature’s ongoing commitment to invest in local communities. The bill will provide $200 million in Fiscal Year 2020 for municipal infrastructure improvements across the Commonwealth.
