Sen. Moore Joins AAA in Honoring Grafton Police Department

BOSTON – Senator Michael O. Moore (D-Millbury) attended the AAA Northeast Traffic Safety Awards luncheon held in Worcester this week to honor the Grafton Police Department and Officer Robert Collette for his distinguished service and commitment to traffic safety.

“I was pleased to join AAA Northeast, Chief Normand Crepeau Jr., and Officers Robert Collette and Daniel Wenc, to celebrate the Grafton Police Department’s successful efforts to keep the community safe from impaired motorists,” said Sen. Moore.  “In particular, it was a great honor to present Officer Collette with a Senate citation to recognize his service.”

Officer Robert Collette, whose career with the Grafton Police spans 31-years, was selected by AAA for being a ‘Traffic Safety Hero.’  Almost half of the Department’s total OUI arrests in 2014 were attributed to Officer Collette’s diligent efforts.  Officer Collette also serves as Grafton's Collision Reconstruction Specialist, often assisting with accident investigations that require an in-depth crash analysis.
