BOSTON – Senator Michael O. Moore (D-Millbury) and Representative Paul K. Frost (R- Auburn) are pleased to announce the Massachusetts Executive Office of Labor and Workforce Development has awarded a grant to Consolidated Fabricators in the Town of Auburn.
Consolidated Fabricators manufactures complex electrical and fluid systems for gas turbines and power generators. The company has been awarded $96,370 to train 55 workers, and anticipates adding another job by 2019. The grant has been provided through the Workforce Training Fund General Program, an initiative designed to aid productivity and competitiveness by investing in the improvement of employee skills at businesses throughout the Commonwealth.
“The Greater Worcester area possesses some of the most innovative, dynamic and successful companies within our Commonwealth,” said Senator Moore. “I am certainly very impressed by the contributions Consolidated Fabricators has already made to the vibrancy of the area economy and I am confident that this grant opportunity will enhance efforts to promote productivity and competitiveness in the workplace.”
Representative Frost commented, “I'm very pleased to see a company in the district once again receive a Workforce Training Grant. I congratulate Consolidated Fabricators for receiving the grant and appreciate the manufacturing jobs they provide right here in Auburn."
