BOSTON – With the statewide election around the corner, Senator Michael O. Moore (D-Millbury) recently launched a webpage with helpful information about how Massachusetts residents can cast their ballot this November. The online resource provides links to helpful information about how to vote early, absentee or at the polls.
“Voting has never been easier and it’s important to help ensure that local residents are familiar with the many different ways to make their voice heard,” said Senator Moore. “I hope that friends, neighbors and members of the community will help circulate this information to encourage participation in our democratic system.”
The statewide election is scheduled for Tuesday, November 6th. Polls will be open across the state from 7:00 a.m. to 8:00 p.m. Early voting is also available beginning Monday, October 22nd until Friday, November 2nd. All registered Massachusetts voters are eligible to vote early at any early voting location in the community, or by mail. Voters may also cast absentee ballots if they will be absent from their municipality on Election Day, or if they have a disability or religious belief which prevents them from voting at their polling place.
