Dear Friend,
I wanted to take a moment to highlight nine pieces of legislation that were recently passed by the Legislature and signed into law by the Governor. I am particularly proud of how these bills will positively impact residents living in the Second Worcester District.
The bills seek to address a wide range of issues facing our veterans, environment, economy, animals and members of the law enforcement community. Please click on any of the icons below to learn more about each of these pieces of legislation. As always, if you have any questions, or if my office can be of assistance to you, please do not hesitate to reach out.
Yours in service,
MICHAEL O. MOORE
State Senator
Second Worcester District
Did You Know?
The Town of Upton was once home to the world’s largest women’s hat factory? The William Knowlton & Sons hat factory was founded by William Knowlton, who began his career as a dealer of straw braid in Upton Center during 1833. Knowlton later transitioned from making straw braid hats to straw hats, and then to felt hats.
